What I was initially drawn to was the subject matter. I saw Inna's creations as renditions of some fantastic sea life, from the shell-like to the more obvious fish forms and wave-water representations. The functional aspect of traditional ceramic uses mixed with the purely expressive and idea driven approach.
In many of her works, the integration of the form and its details as well as the technical execution was extremely well done... I felt that the playful aspect of the approach and the range of experimentation were critical to her particular mode of expression.
