I was born and grew up in a very small village in Turkmenistan, by the southern border of the former Soviet Union. I graduated from the Art School for the youth, but after the high school, I didn't choose an artist career, I wanted to be a scientist in Biology and graduated from the Turkmenistan State University. Unfortunately the reality ruined all my dreams. USSR became history and I found myself being a foreigner in my own country without any citizen's rights. I tried many different jobs in order to survive in the big city of Moscow where I moved after Turkmenistan became an independent country. But sometimes our losses can create new opportunities. I moved to the United States and found another passion of my life - ceramics. Ever since I've been dedicating all my time and creativity to studying Ceramics and working on numerous art projects.
